Zentrum Herrnau

For guests who would like to fit in a little shopping during their stay, we warmly recommend the Zentrum Herrnau, among many other options. This shopping paradise is just a few minutes from our hotel by bus or car. An underground car park with 380 spaces is free for visitors during the day; charges only apply from 5 pm. Located in the south of Salzburg, the Zentrum Herrnau has furniture, clothing and stationery shops as well as plenty of places to buy groceries and toiletries.

The shops here include, for example, the well-known shoe discounter Deichmann and the dm chemist chain. But there is also a specialist office supplies shop focusing on travel-sized items. The Zentrum Herrnau is also home to numerous service businesses such as hair salons and banks – there is even a beauty salon and a launderette. After shopping, various bars and restaurants invite you to linger. While “Indigo” serves healthy, tasty food such as sandwiches, noodles and spicy curry, “Pier 17” and “Raschhofer’s Rossbräu” are more the place for a relaxed drink. At the Pier, people meet for the legendary after-work parties to make the most of the cocktail happy hour from 5 pm to 7 pm. Things are rather more rustic at “Raschhofer’s Rossbräu”, which serves a wide range of beers that you can even enjoy in summer in the beer garden shaded by chestnut trees.

But the Zentrum Herrnau is not just for shopping and eating out. Numerous medical specialists also have their practices here, so in an emergency our guests always have a specialist close at hand.
